Parry Sound Islanders Could Sweep the North Division Final Today

The Parry Sound Islanders played game 3 of the North Division Final on Saturday night. They went into the game up 2 games to 0 over the New Tecumseth Civics.

The Civics looked like they were going to win their first game of the series as they were up by 3 goals at one point in the 3rd period but the Islanders dug deep and came back to tie the game in regulation. The Islanders then scored in OT putting them ahead 3-0 in the 7 game series over the #1 seed Civics. 

The Islanders now have a chance to sweep  the series Sunday afternoon in front of their hometown fans. Game 4 will be played at the Humphrey Community Centre Sunday at 2pm.

If Parry Sound wins, they will go onto the Russell Cup Final!
