CN Rail Infrastructure Upgrade Project in Parry Sound

The Town of Parry Sound wants residents to be aware that starting April 25, 2017 and continuing until May 3, 2017, you will see an increase of C.N. crews in Parry Sound as C.N. continues to invest in track infrastructure to maintain a safe and efficient network.

This significant investment in the track infrastructure in the Parry Sound region will consist of crossing upgrades, installing new rail and rail ties, welding work and general track maintenance.

The crews will work a daily eight-hour shift during the nine-day work block.

C.N. will work with the municipality of Parry Sound to coordinate any road closures and detours during the scheduled track work.
