#ParrySound Islanders Lose Game 1 of Russell Cup Final
Game 1 of the Russell Cup Final took place Wednesday (March 22) night on home ice in Humphrey and I’m sure the Islanders wish they could start it over.
The Islanders lost game 1 by a score of 7-1. The Whalers showed dominance and the Islanders looked nervous. Milan Prusek was the lone goal scorer for Parry Sound and goaltending duty was split between Filip Grancarov & Tanner Fausnaugh, they stopped 37 shots combined.
The team will have Thursday off to regroup as they look to bounce back at the Vale Centre Friday night in Port Colborne.
