#ParrySound School Busses Cancelled due to Freezing Rain

There is a freezing rain warning in effect for the Town of Parry Sound and surrounding areas. 

Freezing rain is expected to taper off by late morning.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance.

Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.

Due to the freezing rain school busses have been cancelled in east and west Parry Sound.
