Freezing rain is expected to begin Tuesday afternoon and last for several hours before changing to rain in the evening. A few centimetres of snow and ice pellets are likely before the freezing rain begins.

Hazardous winter travelling conditions are expected.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays. Road closures are possible. Ice build-up may cause tree branches to break. Utility outages may occur.
